Sedili Kechil Wetlands
The Sedili Kechil wetlands are located in the south eastern district of the state of Johor. It represents a rare and unique wetland that is in danger of disappearing. A unique interlocking mosaic of wetland types forms this drainage basin where substantial area remains untouched and in need of conservation.
Sungei Buloh Nature Park is located in the North-Western part of Singapore in the rural Lim Chu Kang area. It consists of mangrove swamps and tranquil fresh water ponds. The park is home to many species of birds which migrate to the tropics during the winter season.
Malacca Heritage Trail
A few years back, with support from the American Express Foundation, a trail route was put together and signs were erected outside the points of interest on the route. You will pass many of the same places on your trail. There is also a Dutch Melaka Heritage Trail which covers historic buildings from the Dutch colonial era.
Old Johor Cultural and Heritage Trail
You will experience submerging into history left by the old Malay coastal inhabitants whose life loyal to the Johor Sultanate. Located on the left of the mighty Johor River; it is about 27km drive from Kota Tinggi and about 30km from Desaru to Teluk Sengat and eventually to Johor Lama. Feast on our authentic Kampung Johor Lama style menu of Asam Pedas (a blend of sweet, sour, hot and spicy dish), fried horseshoe Crab Sambal and boiled crabs. All food are prepared by our traditional kitcheners.
Taman Negara Adventure Expedition
Tap into your inner adventurer as you visit Malaysia’s Taman Negara rainforest and national park. Included outdoor activities range from jungle walks to braving the river rapids. Enjoy Mother Nature in all her glory, whether you are fishing at the nearby Lata Berkoh River or hiking up Teresek Hill.
Ubin Exploration – Day Trip
Pulau Ubin is filled with wild fragrances and exotic wildlife. A hilly island off the coast of Changi (on the eastern side of Singapore), it holds one of the last landscapes still surviving in modern Singapore. Ubin is a great day trip spent walking or pedaling through rustic roads under swaying coconut palms, exploring shady trails in overgrown rubber plantations, checking out secluded beaches and flourishing mangroves. On Ubin, the food tastes better, air is fresher and sights and sounds so soothing to the soul.
Pulau Semakau Exploration
Just 8km south of Singapore, this small island is home to some of Singapore’s best nature-related recreational activities. Pulau Semakau was opened to the public in 2005, and attracts visitors for its spectacular sports fishing, bird-watching, clean air, cycling, pristine water, star-gazing and island walks. Plant and wildlife are largely left undisturbed, and the native plants and animals flourish and grow.
Kampung Retreat (Family Camp)
Retreat to beach chalet, Kampung Tg Sepang, Telok Rumania, South Johor.
The Kampung was recently declared as the cleanest kampung in Johor by the Chief Minister.
Rural activities include fishing, coconut, watermelon and oil palm cultivation and charcoal making.
March, June and September School Holidays
2D 1N camp for special children ages 7 -12 years. Camp site at Little Garden School House. Activities include hiking, camp craft, field cooking, star gazing, survival games and campfire.
